Our Product to help

 Kia Ora Everyone,

For our inquiry, we have been inventing a product to make something easier or better. We had to brainstorm our ideas and we have to work on a design process, in which we have to complete questions such as " What is the problem? ". Since we were able to work with a buddy I decided to do this with a buddy.

              

I did this with my buddy, Emily, at first we kinda had some argument because we didn't have the same idea and imagination of what the product would be. Then we decided that we would invent a robotic buddy that carries your stuff for you so you don't get any more backaches when carrying a big bag. It will also come with a watch so your little buddy knows where you are, It will also avoid any obstacles to keep your stuff nice safe. It is not yet finished but probably soon we will finish the plan. maybe in a few years, we might be able to build it. What do you think about our product? What do you think is a good name? In literacy, we have been working on a slide that is called Kiwi Innovators.  

We have to answer read the information that is given to us and answer the question. 

After we have finished the Understand and know we can go on to Create.

This is one of my creates, this creates was very fun to make because we went on a website and made this.

We were allowed to make an animation on whatever we wanted. How did you like it?  Have you learned about some kiwi inventors? Do you have feedback for me?

Imagine a World without trees🚫🌱🌳🚫

This week we presented our speeches to our literacy groups. There were a lot of great ones and also hilarious ones. I did mine about a world without trees.

                        

I did mine about a world without trees because when I was on a road trip with my family I saw tons of trees chopped down and there was a road that was full of trees when I first came to Nz but a few months ago they were chopped down, which made me think " Hmm, how many trees a being chopped down per year". Presenting my speech made me feel really nervous but my teacher ask the group to turn around which made me feel less nervous and I was able to present it. Have you done your speech yet? What did you do it on? Do you have any feed back?

The Incredible Philippines🇵🇭

 Kia Ora Everyone,

On the first week of term 4, Our school did a cultural diversity day. Where people from different countries can share thing about their country, Me and my friend (Maiyde) are from the Philippines and we made a slide that we shared in front of people who were all wearing their cultural clothing.

   

It was very fun learning more about my country and making the slide with friends. Our teacher even made a slide for everyone to add their work. I got very nervous presenting.

The Animation of Maori language week.

 Kia Ora Everyone,

Last week Korimako hub started a Maori animation. We had to pick a scenery and add the Maori word of the things around our scenery, We were able to team up with a buddy. We picked a kitchen to do. We haven't finished it yet it's still a work in progress.

                         

This was really fun and easy to do and I learned new Maori words. How did you celebrate Maori language? Have you made an animation about Maori kupus? Do you have any feedback?

 Kia Ora Everyone,

During our lockdown learning, we did a little science experiment it was an Apple Experiment. We had to cut an apple into quarters then we had to keep them in different liquids like Lemon juice, Salted water, and Vinegar. We had to keep one plain. 

                 

This apple experiment was very fun it was something I had never done before and I really enjoyed it. This was a great experience. Have you done something like this before? What did you do during the lockdown? Do you have any feedback for me?
